Cora Paige

The purpose of this site is to introduce Cora Paige, give you ways to pray for her and her mommy & daddy, Joel and Jessica, and provide a way to donate funds. Many of you have been generous and have asked for a place to allocate money for the McClenahans.

Joel and Jess live in an adorable farm house where every room has been lovingly remodeled except for the bathroom. This bathroom was going to be Joel's "winter project." However, now that his time and energy will be devoted to Cora, friends and family have come together to remodel the bathroom. We know that it would bless them to finish this project. The "project" is in full swing as Jessica's brothers and other friends and family are in the process of the remodel. They are hoping to have it completed in time to welcome Joel, Jess & Cora home from the hospital. For now, donations are going towards all the materials needed.

The most important thing we can ask of you all is to lift Joel, Jess & baby Cora in prayer. We trust that the Lord is in control and He is holding Cora in the palm of His hands. We ask for His peace, strength, and healing & trust that He will walk with this beloved family every step of the way.

"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear..."
Psalms 46:1

  3. Your little girl is in my thougths and prayers. May God be your guiding light through this unexpected journey. Everything is out of our control but in the end you will understand why this has happened to your family, God will show what we don't understand right now. Be strong and always remember that babies are the most resiliant patients. Hope you can find some peace and rest in this trying time. All my prayers are sent your way.

    Sincerely,

  8. As I came upon your blog late last night, I found myself in a pool of tears, and still everytime I check your blog or look at the pictures of Cora tears are brought to my eyes. Last night after reading your blog I went and picked up my 7 month old and woke her up, together we prayed for God to look after all of you, and to give you strength. I just want you to know that your blog has touched our lives. Kristi Borden
