Anderson Rd. Newton, Kansas. Burial will follow at the Pleasant View Cemetery in rural Elbing.<br /><br />In lieu of sending flowers, a memorial has been established to construct the Cora Playground, an extension of the children's ministries department at Grace Community Church. For a tax deductible donation, please make checks out to the church with "Cora's Playground" in the memo. Many of you have been generous and have asked for a place to allocate money for the McClenahans. <br /><br />Joel and Jess live in an adorable farm house where every room has been lovingly remodeled except for the bathroom. This bathroom was going to be Joel's "winter project." However, now that his time and energy will be devoted to Cora, friends and family have come together to remodel the bathroom. We know that it would bless them to finish this project. The "project" is in full swing as Jessica's brothers and other friends and family are in the process of the remodel. They are hoping to have it completed in time to welcome Joel, Jess & Cora home from the hospital. For now, donations are going towards all the materials needed. <br /><br />The most important thing we can ask of you all is to lift Joel, Jess & baby Cora in prayer. We trust that the Lord is in control and He is holding Cora in the palm of His hands. We ask for His peace, strength, and healing & trust that He will walk with this beloved family every step of the way.<br /><br />"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
